2 - Minutes From Last Meeting

Agreed.

 

3 - Actions from Last Meeting

Business cards still being handed out.

Camping weekend took place and FJRs would like to repeat this next year – consensus was that it had been a good weekend and a repeat would be good.  Closed.

T-shirts with the full colours on Fruit of Loom can be ordered with no minimum run for £8 each.  Agreed that some of a variety of sizes should be ordered.  Karl suggested they should be sold at £10 with profits going towards things like the bonding party and this was agreed.  Closed.

All other actions were completed and closed.

 

4 - Finances

Don was not present but it is thought that with the move of merchandise to assets that the balance stands at about £800.

 

5 -Web Update

There are loads of things to go on the web.

 

6 - Events

Events Holiday next year -

There was a discussion as to whether the holiday should extend the Irish Rally or be a European holiday to Luxembourg or Germany. Paul preferred the European option and Terry gave the following possible information:

• Would have to be with Eurocamp not Keycamp and therefore no loyalty discount
• Cost would be approx £300 for 2 people and 1 bike
• Travel from Hull-Zeebrugge
• Probably 9 days.

Terry is to sound out who would be going to Ireland and who would want a European holiday.

Bonding Party key points -

• To take place Sept 12 - 14th at Doncaster Rugby Club
• Last year we paid for one night disco, band and some food at cost of £50
• Disco for 2 nights and band will cost £450 this year
• Hopefully this will be covered by raffle
• Party to be combined with Jen and Kev's wedding
• Jen and Kev will fund costs over £450
• Wedding at 10:40am at the Doncaster Registry Office (currently)
• Rideout to escort bride to ceremony
• Dressing up for ride - in etc allowed
• Friday night band is Resurgence - girl fronted with emphasis on PVC and fishnets
• Friday night to be stag and hen night
• Possible need for portaloos depending on pitch for camping
• Karl suggested Centre fund up to £500 with view to getting it back on raffle - agreed by others
• Kev expected to move to Yorkies and increase numbers
• Maggi to provide flyer.
• Terry to send email to other Centre reps asking them to supply expected numbers.

8 - Merchandise

Badges to be on display on meeting nights. Terry/Don.

 

9 - A.O.B.

Karl advised the committee that he will put his name forward for a national "top table" but doesn't know what posts will be available.

John King asked what happened to the role of K'nell rep after Steve Cooper finished and whether we needed a new one. Steve used to arrange all of the rideouts but now multiple people lead them so the consensus was that there wasn't a need for the role.

 

10 - Date of Next Meeting

4th Tuesday in September - location to be determined (based on how the George and Dragon's renovations are progressing).
