Another rally again boy are they coming round fast. The meeting place was at Woodall services to leave at 10am for those who were going. After refreshments it was time to set off, we had the weather on our side for the ride down to the rally on the way we stopped for petrol and more refreshments. With Terry leading us all the way we met with some traffic but most of us managed to white line until we cleared the traffic. More stops for petrol and refreshment at Watford gap yippee nearly there. We met a couple of bikers who were on their way down as well, set off again this time no stops straight to the venue thank god beginning to get a numb bum but well worth it.
We were met by the welcome squad, then it was time to pitch up the tents take a breather i.e. a few tinnies and then to go sample the food, very nice it was, worth the money. Then it was back to the tent for more tinnies shower change and ready for the night and yes it was a good one. All made welcome the band was good got everyone going also the disco and all evening there was a B.B.Q 24hrs and they were mega ones partied to the end or until you drop.

Well how did we all fare this morning were there any thick heads they may have been - anyway it was the day for the bus tour yeah!!! It was brekkie, shower and to the bus for 11am - weather, rubbish but it didn't dampen the day three buses set off to the centre of London with a guide tour a lot of laughter on the bus once we got to London parked up by the London eye.
We had an hour to have a look round the sights of London, back on the bus it was like musical buses some changing buses and off we go this time we had a blue badge guide to tell us all about the interesting places in London. Well now one of the bus guide had a stutter how they kept their face straight I do not know. We did a stop at St Paul's cathedral to have a look round then back on the bus to continue the tour, not long after we drop the guide off and then it was homeward bound back to the camp site and am telling you this was a trip well worth its money. We got back for 4pm, time for a rest, something to eat and then it was time to get ready for the night which was a Cops and Robbers theme.
There was some good costumes and in amongst us there were some real coppers once again the band was great but did you notice there were familiar faces from the night before, same band - different name mmmm, there was lots of fun and I had a great time with my whip I'm sure some just like to get whipped. As the night went on we had the most people doing the row boat dance on the floor that must have been a record also the conger and nelly the elephant and there was dancing on the tables. Drinks flowing as normal forgot to mention trophy's given out for varies things and Yorkie rider yes you know who you are Kev V for best Wildstar, anyway as the night carried on to the end it was to the B.B.Q for a mega burger lovely and by the way Otto was being his usual self being chased round the field in the Buff by a policewoman great Benny Hill sketch.

After a fantastic night today's venue was A) a ride to Ace cafe and to the R.A.F museum B) the poker run or C) back to the campsite. We went to the museum which started of well marshaled until one person took the wrong turn and the back end followed the marshall did her best to get us there with the help from Doc. Dave we had a look round the museum had a snack then it was time to set off at the bikes someone decided to swap the bike jackets around some found it in good taste some didn't, as we set off the marshals set going the wrong way got back to camp a welcome tinny was in order then food, get change and ready for the last night. We had another great night with a different band a duo which was good.
It was time for the sponsored haircut Chris from the Yorkies we handcuff him to the chair and Sandie and Maggie had the pleasure of scalping him. He ended with a Mohican for the night, we raised almost £300 in memory of Bev to go to the Yorkies charity and part to the poppy appeal for their 1000 mile trip, then it was party to the end. We couldn't end each of the night without singing DELIAH !!!! then again it was off for a burger at the B.B.Q. Forgot to mention we had two rally virgins in the Yorkies group - Doc. Dave's mum and Chris. I'm sure Chris will remember the night, hope we have not put you off !!!
