Friday 26th June

The start of the weekend for the Centre 8 Rally, everyone made their way down to Bromsgrove in the sunshine, nice ride down til the heavens opened and the rain came down for 20 mins but that didn’t dampened the spirit of anyone, all tents pitched up ready for the weekend.

The evening got of to a good disco and a band, there was a lot of dancing and singing some of the Yorkies and the Centre 8 got up on stage with the band to sing. Everyone enjoyed the evening more booze and good spirit by all till the end, Bev again on hand to take pics of the night.

Saturday 27th June

Once the booze was slept off, it was breakfast and to top up with petrol ready for the ride out to the motorbike museum at 11am. We had the hot sunshine for the ride out, spent sometime in the museum looking at the bikes old and new; some had a bite to eat also time to go not realising that we were leaving earlier thanks to Terry he noticed me and Steve were not ready, but we were still inside, with everyone ready to set off I had to walk to the bike  the horns of shame and cheers for being the last one back.!

Back at the camp site it was party games time it began with the stocks and wet sponges, Kevin and most of the reps got that and Bevs pics are brill showing the water.  Then the dizzy mop race that was fun to watch as they fell over after downing a full can of lager.

Then Terry did his re-enactment of the Titanic what a surprise at the end but all done in the best possible taste. Stars of the show were Ian and Tina in the erotic meal scene – disgusting!

The theme on the night was Rocky horror and entertainment with Mrs B giving us songs and routines from the show, which was really good.  Then it was time for the trophies award and yes guys Centre 5 won TWO TROPHYS Maggie for her 535 bike and the other for the most attended group, at last the Yorkies have won this one.

On to more dancing then it was Terry’s turn for his surprise the look on his face told it all they said it was his stag night warm up!, but he took it in with a good sense of humour, more dancing and drinking until the end good night had by all thanks to Centre 8.

Sunday 28th June

Cheers

Marie and Steve
