Centre update
Hi Guys
a big thanks to those that supported our dinner / dance last weekend, a donation of £243 is in the kitty for our charity - for the head shave on myself / Barrie / Roger and Sarah - a big thanks to Sandie who, although slightly tippsy, cut our hair with no problem. The committee will choose where the raffle monies will go so I'll let you know the outcome.
We hope you will be able to make the AGM at Hirst Courtney next Tuesday, the usual format and yes all positions in the club are up for election. We have a lot to discuss, with voting, the 2011 rally, next years Cairn event and our summer programme, so please make the effort to attend.
The pictures taken at the Cairn are on http://terry-yorkies950.fotopic.net/ as there are quite a few it will take a while for Steve to transfer these all to the web. If anyone wants a decent size picture to print please let me know and this can be arranged.
There will be photos and a story in The Harrogate Advertiser but as yet these are not on there try google and soon the photos etc. will be on their web site.
Next weekend Sunday 21st there is a Fred Hill memorial ride and our friends in Wakefield Mag will be there. If you want to join this ride we are leaving Squires at 11am and ending at The Sun Inn near Otley. It's a well supported event I know Yorkshire Trikes and other groups will support this. If you fancy blowing the dust off the bike its worth the effort.
Nearer the time I will let all members know of our own special day - on Sunday March 7th at 11am we will be placing the memorial bench to remember our members that have passed away. Familles representing Sue Johnson, Peter Baxter and Paul Stubley have been invited to Squires to be part of this special morning. I hope we can get a good attendance from the Yorkies to support and pay our respects to our fellow friends gone by.
I hope this mail finds you well and we hope to see you very soon, our web site is bang up to date thanks to Steve and all the events / rideouts / past photos are on our web site.
Regards
Terry
