Sad News From Centre 8

After the sad accident with Ken and Jackie, with Ken suffering a broken leg and Jackie with pains to her legs we thought that would be it for the bad news, but sadly I have just heard that our friends Bob and Marie from C8 had a bad accident last weekend on their way home from a Centre weekend in Wales. A slow speed crash to avoid a tractor has left them both in Shrewsbury hospital after an air lift for Marie. Bob has had an operation to repair his badly damaged ankle while Marie has a fracture to the skull/cheek bone and some serious cuts and bruises.

C8 are doing everything to help them at this time , but a phone call will def brighten their day. You can call anytime on 07900047480 and it would be well received.

We all wish all our casualties in the VSOC a speedy recovery

Centre Update

Hi all,

a big thanks to "Gravel Graham" for a brilliant ride out last sunday. Excellent weather and his route, as always, was the best - cheers mate!

This Friday a group of us are travelling down to the Cambridge area to attend Centre 10's late party. The actual party is on Saturday night, but as the weather is looking good we will be camping for the weekend - so if you fancy a good weekend we are leaving Katies kitchen / Frankies diner just after Blyth services on A1 southbound leaving at 3pm - if you need more info give me a call on 07974952237.

Lastly tomorrow, Thursday 24th we are meeting up at 7pm at the Flying Horse Ossett for the run over to the "Snooty Fox" at Wakefield for the "mods and rockers " night. Ivan's newly formed band are playing and it has the makings of a good night. A good excuse to give your bike a run out me thinks.

A few more dvd's are on the club YouTube site now - more recently of the wedding / summer party weekend in Doncaster - go to www.youtube.com/5staryorkies - thanks to Mark for updating this site.

Regards to you all,

Terry
