Terry and Sue's Wedding and Yorkies Summer Party

Having just returned from the weekend at Doncaster Rugby Club, we wish to thank Kev, Jen, Maggi and Chris for their superb organisation skills, and also thank all the Yorkies and VSOC members for making our wedding day a very special occasion. The Yorkies Party was also a brilliant event and you can all be proud that we can arrange a brilliant Bit of A Do !.

As has been said before non biking people have said that we really do know how to party, and judging by the faces sunday morning, C5 got it right !!!!

We would like to thank everyone for there good wishes, cards and wonderful gifts, we feel very humble that we have such fantastic and generous friends.

News update

Hi ...a big thank you to Kev and all those that came on the pre wedding rideout, to see the route that Kev had arranged. I'm sure our visiting bikers will enjoy the scenic tour of Doncaster with Tom leading the way to the Rugby club, it made a bit of a good ride.

Congratulations to Jason - Paul and Judy Soo's son who experienced his first group ride after passing his test last week. he is pictured on his new bike - thanks to parents, and I'm sure we will be seeing more of Jason on our ride outs.

After testing the routes it was time for Mark to do a few trial shots in Doncaster Town Centre - thanks to Jackie for standing in for Sue, who refused to come as she wants surprises !!!

We will be at Doncaster Rugby Club from around 9am on Friday 17th to set up the flag and banners, you are more than welcome to arrive at your conveniences. Food and hot/cold beverages will be available from early afternoon and throughout the weekend. As well as it being Terry and Sue's wedding it is also our Centre's summer party, we hope you will be able to come for the day or even better the whole weekend.

Events update

Hi All,

Just a reminder that its Mick and sandies rideout this Sunday (5th July) to an unknown destination but Mick has asked that we leave Squires at 10am sharp.

They have put a lot of prep in to this ride, and we hope you can find time off to support their efforts.

Regarding our Centre holiday to Luxemborg (30th April to May 8th 2009), of the 20 caravans available on site with Eurocamp 19 have been booked - we therefore have 1 remaining caravan left, so if you fancy this please ring as soon as possible.

For all those booked, please let me or Don have your £50 deposit at our next Osset meeting on 7th July. We will need names of people in your party / bike details / if taking a trailer / and if you have your own personal travel insurance.

With only 2 weeks away from our Wedding and the Yorkies summer party, Sue and myself really hope we get to see you over the weekend, you will be more than welcome for the whole weekend or just the day. Camping is available at the rugby club or there are numerous travel lodge style hotels very close by.

To help fund the Friday side of the weekend John and Julie hope you can find a raffle prize for our Centre, thanks to all those already donated, but to put on a good selection John and Julie would like some more, many thanks for this as it helps our Centres funds.

Trike Owners - trike show needs you

Message from Bob at Yorkshire Trikers.

City Centre Motor Show Sunday 2 August 2009 11am - 4pm at various locations within Sheffield city centre.

We have been asked to put on a show of trikes in Sheffield City Centre. For the past two years Sheffield city centre motor show has attracted approximately 20,000 more visitors into the city centre than on a normal Sunday. They plan to make the 2009 event even bigger and better, with more vehicles and motorbikes of all types, and your participation can make all the difference.
