Peter Baxter - arrangements
We have received an invitation to attend a ceremony to celebrate Peter Baxter's life on Thursday 25 June 11.15 am.
It is to be an informal open air ceremony held at:
The South Yorkshire Woodland Burial Ground
Ulley Lane
Ulley (near Rotherham)
All are welcome at the Royal Oak in Ulley afterwards.
If you think you will be able to attend then will you let me or Terry know as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements and give Sue some idea of the numbers.
Thanks Maggi

Sad update
It is with sadness that I have to inform you that Terry has received an email from Sue Baxter with the news that Peter passed away suddenly yesterday. Following a lengthy illness it is thought that he had a massive stroke or heart attack but there will be a post mortem to confirm this.
Most of us will remember Peter for his Derbyshire rideouts followed by the barbecues that he and Sue put on at their beautiful old station house in aid of Cancer Research.
Terry has emailed Sue offering our condolences and support in anything that she needs. He has asked about the funeral arrangements and told her that we would be honoured to attend as a motorcycle escort if this is what she would like. We will let you know when we have more details.
Regards
Maggi

Hi All
With Maggi and family drying out after their trip back from Southampton today, I've been asked to remind you that our meetings are back on at the Royal Oak Hirst Cortney (Tuesday 16Th June) and every 3rd Tuesday, we have the same use of the function room and we hope that this will last a bit longer with the new landlord.
At the meeting I will be explaining that we have booked 18 caravans next May for our annual Yorkies Holiday - Luxembourg - a guide price depending on how many bikes in your party is £400 per couple this includes overnight ferries from Hull to Zebrugge - (1 motorcycle) -and return and your caravan on site with linen pack.
As that is all the vans available it will be 1st come 1st served ..a deposit of £50 is reqd ...and I have to book by the end of this month to gain all the discounts we have negotiated. so please send your cheques (vsoc yorkies) as soon as possible please stating if you want a caravan as a couple or wish to share with another couple
This weekend we are off again for our "Chill Out" weekend at Cotesmore ,,,post code for the village hall and camping area is LE15 7DH , in Cotesmore the driveway to the Hall is alongside the only pub in the village - THE SUN INN" ,,,site is available from 2pm Friday .
Sadly I lost my camera on the way home so all the evidence at the international is lost.. but I have put all of Bev's 300 odd pics on the photo pics site - link from our photos page ,,http://terry-yorkies950.fotopic.net/
Finally don't forget any raffle prizes you can help our centre out with for our summer party / wedding in July - thanks
