From the dinner/dance

Following a very successful night at the Cairn hotel ...
It's with great pleasure that we can inform all the Yorkies that our new annual trophy was presented to Steve and Marie. The trophy was awarded to the "Most Outstanding Member" and I'm sure you will agree that they are very worthy of this award

A line to thank everyone that attended the Dinner Dance from both The North East Maidens MCC and myself.

Thanks to the generosity of you all I was pleased to accept on behalf of the Maidens another £100 to their cause which I intend handing over at their AGM on Thursday night with all the other money I've raised which was in total £885. I will in due course inform you of the final total the Maidens raised for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Again a big thank you to all you Yorkies, i'm proud to have you all as friends

Winter is here?

Hi all,

Hope that you are all coping with the freeze. I know that some of you are definitely doing better than me as apparently there were a lot of people at the meeting on Tuesday but I didn't make it.

Here's a pic of my street on Tuesday night though as my excuse!

It seems that Dr Dave even made it on his bike!

Not a lot else to tell apart from a reminder about the AGM at the next meeting on the 17th at Hirst Courtney so let me know if you have any agenda items or any nominations by next Tuesday.

To those of you going to the dinner/dance then I'll see you there - I'll be the one trying not to "peak too early".
