Yorkies Christmas Meeting

What a brilliant turnout of members at our pre Christmas meeting. The Flying Horse always puts on a decent buffet and this year proved what a good meeting place we have there, thanks to all of you that turned up and again a good atmosphere was present.

We had numerous presentations, Roger Brook and Christine came all the way from Scarborough and the club presented him with a gift to celebrate his 70th birthday. Roger is looking very well and as we know still loves getting about on his bike. Also celebrating birthday's was Mick and Elaine.

Our next presentation was to Dave Newman who received his VSOC membership free for gaining 2nd place in the Clatter Photo Competition.

Then we made the draw for the "Honeymoon Suite" for our dinner / dance in February ,,this was an excellent result as it went to Ken and Jackie Wallis. While Ken and Jackie were in the spotlight Phil and Angie from C6 came over to our meeting to present them with 'Outstanding Members At A Rally' award. Received after their accident, but still had determination to party to the end at the Barlick Bash.

Terry
