last rideout details - centre update

Hi,

This weekend sees the last rideout on our calendar, leaving Squires around 10.30am (Sunday 26th October). The destination will be arranged on the day but if its wet its off! So if you are not certain please phone before setting off - Terry on 07974952237.

There is a lot of photos to be seen on http://terry-yorkies950.fotopic.net/ most recently of The Doncaster Show and I've heard that Steve is bringing our website up to date very soon.

I have just updated the 'For Sale' section with an advert for a Virago from our area its definately worth a look if you are in the market for a cruiser. This was originally just sent just to our own website, but the owner would prefer it to go to an enthusiast, so he also wants it to go national site.

Maggi is now preparing our own Little Clatter and this will be in print for November - if you have anything you want to share, please send in as soon as possible. The main Clatter has a boat load of items from our Centre and this will be out at end of November.

There is just 8 more places left for our dinner / dance in February (for all Yorkie members). If you have not paid a deposit, please send the £20 off to avoid dissapointment.

Lastly in this weeks "That's Life" Magazine Jen and Kev had an article about their wedding and kndly have donated their money received from the magazine to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance appeal - what a fantastic gesture!

Allison has passed!

Hi
Great news as another lady biker joins our fold. Allison has passed her test at the first attempt and now, thanks to John in preparing and painting her 535, Allison is well on the road.

At the Donny show her bike had many admirers and photos taken of this unusual but stunning Virago.

Best wishes from all us Yorkies.

wedding/bonding party feedback

We are still buzzing and flying high from the weekend and no doubt we will be for quite some time to come! We would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everybody who attended the Yorkies bonding party and our wedding. Words are not enough to say how grateful we both are to all the Yorkies for everything they have done for us. The turn out was unbelievable and far out did any expectations we had. The personal touches from all the Centre's, especially our good friends Centre 8, just made our weekend so perfect and we have memories that we will cherish forever. We will also be able to buy some fab presents, many thanks to all the contributed to our collections, this will be put to good use when we finally get out of Ma Hadder's hair and find our own pad!

If anyone knows the whereabouts of our axe we would be grateful for it's safe return! Money could not buy what we experienced and it was all thanks to the amazing VSOC members. We are so very proud to be a part of not just a wonderful bike club but a bike club that has given us so many wonderful friends.

With all our Love, Kev & Jen xxx

Hi mate, what a lovely statement from Jen & Kev.

I'm sure i'm not alone when I say everyone, without exception had a brilliant weekend, Jen & Ken will never forget and i'm certain neither will anyone who attended. I certainly won't lol
I'd like to say a big thank you to you & Sue as I can appreciate how much you put yourselves out to make the wedding & weekend such a great success. Well done to you both. Not only are Jen & Kev the lucky ones I think everyone in the VSOC are lucky to have both you & Sue not only as members but most of all as friends.

Oh, I left all me slap in the bogs at Donny, bet all those hard rugby b*****ds are looking pretty now, they'll be the Doncaster Belles lololol

Take care & ride safe.

I work with Jen and was at her and Kev's wedding on Saturday all day.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you very much forarranging the best wedding I've ever been too. I wasn't sure what toexpect with it been my first biker wedding and first meeting with bikersas a whole. All I can say is Jeez do you guys know how to throw a party,I never knew it was possible for ones body to consume so much alcohol, although the next day I realised that it wasn't possible as I laid therewith a banging headache.

Thank you once again if I learnt one thing from the wedding it was BIKERS DO IT IN STYLE
