Yorkies goes camping in 2009

Hi to you all,

Alan and Leslie have now confirmed our 2nd camping weekend, it will be over the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd - Monday 25th May 2009.

The site is the White House Camping Park in Builth Wells, Wales. It is in a superb location with a river alongside, close to town centre, excellent ride outs and clean facilities.

As it's Bank Holiday weekend we need a deposit of £5 per person. The cost is £7 per person per night.

In addition don't forget the Cottesmore camping weekend, Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June 2009. A summer camping weekend with old school games - back by popular demand.

Cost per tent per night £6. Again a deposit will be required of £5 per person , if you can't make the meetings, please send deposits by post to guarantee a place at either weekend.

The Scouts will put the marquee up for us and do breakfast if needed but they would like to know numbers in order to get the right amount of food - we will sell breakfast tickets prior to event, aprox £3.50 for a full one (lesser amounts by arrangement toast etc). Free Tea & Coffee paid for by raffle.

On site, there is a clubhouse / good wash and toilet facilities. With only a very short walk you will find the typical country pub serving quality food.
